Further to previous news / blog posts in relation to the current court consultation process being run by HM Court & Tribunal Services. The consultation began on the 16th July 2015 and ends on 8th October 2015. The Ministry of Justice have earmarked 91 courts for closure.

Court Closure Proposals
The Government announced a consultation for proposals to close 91 Courts in England and Wales (and merge many more). This would include Stockport Courthouse which serves the people of Stockport and its boroughs.
Stockport (Lee Street) Police Station Closure
Greater Manchester Police have announced the closure of Stockport Lee Street Police Station to take effect from the 13th November 2012.
