Only days after the CLSA & LCCSA succeeded with the Judicial Review of the Ministry of Justice Legal Aid Duty Contracts Consultation, the MOJ respond with another consultation

Regrettably and yet again the consultation appears flawed.  Firstly in that is will only run for two weeks between 24 Sep 2014 to 15 Oct 2014, and secondly they try to limit the consultation to two KPMG and Otterburn reports that were unlawfully and illegally withheld by the MOJ during the previous consultation.

The time frame will not give the CLSA, LCCSA or interested party sufficient time to instruct their own expert.

It is now essential that all stakeholders, solicitors, barristers, clients, etc all respond to the latest consultation before 15th October 2014 at the latest.
