Retired colleagues
Here are some of the familiar faces from Morton’s Solicitors beginnings and recent past.
Stephen Morton LL.B (HONS)
Stephen founded Morton’s Solicitors along with his son, Simon Morton in 1996. Stephen was a well-known and respected figure of Manchester legal society for many years. He was a quick-witted, intelligent man with a big personality. He was a skilled advocate and fought every case tooth and nail. Stephen retired in 2004 when Simon and Lisa Morton (then Gibson) took over the practice and Morton’s was incorporated. Stephen sadly passed away in 2018 but will be fondly remembered by us all.

Tom was a key team member of our practice from 2000 – 2020, and has now retired. He had a large client following and his discreetness, diligence and hard work were apparent in the results he got for his clients.

Stewart was employed with Morton’s from 1998 until his retirement in 2017. With his charismatic vitality and his kindness, Stewart was a well-liked and successful member of our team.
